Hey Friends!

I have a connection with NefMoto and read ECU info no problem. Using a original HEX-USB Interface with bench harness cable.

I cant read the flash from the ECU. Every time the Message "Reading ECU flash memory failed" is comming. I dont know why?

Using several baudrates without any result. ECU is from a S3 1.8T BAM Engine. (ML906032A  1.8l R4/5VT 0002)

The Memorylayout i have used is the: 29F800BB that must be right!?

ich weiß nicht weiter. please help.

Disabling Windows sleep mode.
Reading ECU flash memory.
ECU reports programming session preconditions have been met.
Negotiating communication timings.
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
ECU reports that security access request was rejected.
Starting diagnostic session.
Disconnecting because no response was received for the Tester Present message.
Disconnected
Reading ECU flash memory failed.
100% complete.
Restoring Windows sleep mode.

I also tried to read/flash with nefmoto on the bench, with kpw2000 protocol and I have the same problem ''ECU reports that security access request was rejected. '' and ''Reading ECU flash memory failed'' on 032DL 1.8t ecu

I think nefmoto are better for read/flash ecu in car. not sure about this thing. if anybody can confirm ?

In the bench I read/flash with galletto in boot mode with blue KKL ftdi cable.
I have adapted the serial # of the FTDI chip to work with galletto software.

sorry for my english

Just like the narrowband TT's, nefmoto rarely works. Tony's not around much for support either I'm afraid.
