What adapters/cables and software works best to data log the AEB (US; 5.92 on my 1998 1.8T manual)?

Also now have Innovate LM2 wideband logger, but have not been able to get the Innovate to connect to OBD2 (would be nice to use for logging AND wideband data in one file). Any tips?

I did a reply but for some reason it started another thread.. Mods, if it can be moved into here that would be good

You cannot run VCDS and Log Works software via the OBD2 at the same time if that is what you mean, not sure how that would even work anyway.
You could run the interface cable OT-2 from Innovate to go via OBD2 port I don't know of anything that would get you more data than VCDS for this ECU but if you use the Log Works software on a PC with the extra inputs from other sensors you could potentially log a reasonable amount of information

There is a DAMOS for M3.8.3 AGU available. You can always switch to that, it's plug and play, and can be flashed.

AFAIK this is not plug and play swap, correct me if I'm wrong but M3.2 has five small connectors and M3.8.3/M5.9.2 has one large and one smaller connector. My plan was also to source ECU that can be flashed via OBD port but complete rewiring of daily driven car doesn't sound tempting.
I have similar 1.8t AEB with M3.2 that I'm planning to tune. I am currently waiting for fresh M28F102 to arrive and searching for programmer to read original chip.

My ECU is a 557P. Car is a 1.8T AEB Tip FWD.

I simply want to do a rear O2 delete.

I have the MPPS cable coming, and have a bench cable made (Can read the ECU with VCDS Lite).

Now I just need the files to work with...

Hey Guys,

i know this is a pretty old Topic - but i tried to do a Stage2 on my Car - it has a K04-15 Turbo on it.

When i apply the Map on my ECU the Charger pumps... i don't know where it could come from..

Maybe someone who has more experience can tell me where this Issue is located...

Did I do something wrong?

No wastegate is not opening - it just pumps up and down - almost similiar to the video

BUT not as hard and ONLY on FULL send and only from 3rd to 5th gear starting at 2400 RPM

YES it is surge boost!
