Are you using the same cable? If so, did you set it to dumb mode?

ebay>mpps v13>buy it. makes life soooo much easier! If you have a issue with nefmoto software w/o an alternative you might end up with a car that wont move and a ecu that wont connect... My $.02... come up with a recovery mode before its too late

thats the right one... common problem with b5's are other failed modules cause interference on k line... few thoughts any lights on? mainly airbag cases problems if a failed unit... any time I have trouble reading / flashing i remove the ecu to flash. post nefmoto log so we can how far you have gotten.

I also use this cable with nefmoto without problems. Does it appear in the Devices up right ? Sometimes you have to Refresh to appear.
And what is the problem you hit Connect and nothing happens ? What does Nefmoto display ?

I bought this cable too, and for me it is working good.

Did you install correct drivers?

Set it to dumb mode in VCDS

May be a dumb answer but it fixed someones issue on here before. Is the car on? 2nd position. If so then would you care to screenshot of what the screen of nefmoto looks like right before you hit connect.
