You could ask nyet, I think he has implemented a format converter from .kp to .xdf.

I tried his mapdump tool yesterday but it had some errors. I just sent him a pm, hopefully he will bother to replay Cheesy

I'll do a ocr-scan on the original damos for the function-numbering and the damos-abbreviations we now miss in the .csv, so they are also included. (handy to quickly find stuff, and compare)

Sorry guys... mapdump only works with a few versions of winols map packs (they change the format around quite a bit)

I'll try to add support for other versions (or at least print a more useful error when it fails)..

alternately, if there are some java ninjas out there who want to help, feel free to send me patches Wink

I'm sitting here staring at the csv , and wondering if i could use my unix shell skills to organize this into a  .xdf file........ Looks like a huge undertaking..

How complete is the definition? How exactly is the csv interpreted?

I'm looking at the .xdf I have which spen generated and the format does not look too terrible.

I think I could probably start by hacking off everything except the german in quotes, and then translating that line by line and feeding it into a new file or replacing it in the CSV once translated........

That could be a step forward.

If you want one, just use the damos to get map and load address and then replace those into an already made xdf, such as the 8n0906018cb I posted. Would only take you a few hours. Easiest way of doing it.

Is there a way I can use this map pack on a 06A906032HP ECU? Here in the forum there is only a partial map pack for HP, and I really would like to have a fully working like this...

Thanks for the definition, it's a good start. Although not all maps are defined. Maps are valid only for VAG sw number '0002'. Does anybody have map offsets for SW '0001' firmware?

Load the version you know fits the damos into mapanalyzer along with the one you want to compare and then use the slide to match them up taking the new map locations or working out the offset. Take you 5 mins to work it out.
