So I found out about this App. for Droid, it allows to datalog your car from your droid phone, I think it's a pretty cool app. I'm currently working on getting the boost gage to work on it? Anyone has been able to do this?
Forget about it, it only has rudimentary utility as far as our cars go. It might be cool for newer cars but not so for for ours. As far as logging goes it is actually worse than VAG-COM since it can only access a few variables exposed to OBD2 interface... There is a lot of stuff missing from OBD2, most notably boost. That's why you can't get the boost gage to work. It also shares the awesome 1 frame per second (exaggerated but still) speed every other app communicating over KWP1281 shares.
