Hi, just to say hello.  I stumbled upon this website with a simple google search of "cluster eeprom replace"  What a wealth of information in one place.  I am going to thoroughly enjoy reading and learning and possibly even assisting here.  I have a degree in electronics and am a 'not so active anymore' radio amateur G7LYL (mobile phones took some of the fun out of it).   I like nothing more than doing the impossible...like you all seem to be doing.  I have thrown myself in at the deep end with a little project of getting an 2002 Audi A3 cluster with full screen DIS (Trip computer) into an A2.  A2 clusters with DIS are fairly hard to come by for less that about £160 and the A3 cluster electronically looks the same and it cost me £30.  Happy days?
