why shouldn't throttle plate angle DK be the same as accelerator pedal %?

Accel pedal is requested relative torque. FUEREG controls throttle plate.

The purpose of dbw torque based systems is not to emulate a cable actuated throttle plate.

I understand that but what if I want it to be a lil closer than what it is, what are the repercussions? What if when I go 50% throttle it goes 100% DK and I don't want that?

The throttle is a means to an end. It's all about realizing a desired load.

Your missing the entire functionality of Motronic and DBW.

The pedal is used as a torque request, the torque request is then translated to a load request. The throttle is only then used to realize that load. There is no linear relationship, especially when we are talking about a forced induction motor.

I don't know what I am talking about, but that appears to be an excellent explanation.

I have been reading on the forum for a while and this kind of thing appears to be what is missing from the forum.

Most everything else I have read is too detailed or too specific or too truncated.
