Bare with me.

I cant work out how the values in KFZW/KFZW2 relate to degrees BTDC when logged with VCDS.

For example

KFZW - 191.25 load @ 6520rpm = 12.75 (value in .bin)
KFZW2 - 191.25 load @ 6520rpm = 11.25 (value in .bin)

VCDS log

6360rpm - 1900mbar - 20.3 deg BTDC

Maybe i'm being stupid but i cant get my head around it, if i wanted to reduce or add timing i dont know what the value in the bin equates to if that makes sense.

Thats just kicked me in the face!!!

.9bar is approx 160 load %

Closest i have is 159.75 = 0.897.5bar (ruffly) @ 6520rpm which is 19.50 value so that would be my timing BTDC @ that load.

I wasnt looking at it right at all.

Timings depends of KFZW but also of KFDZWKG, DZWOAG, DZWOL. Only modify KFZW/KFZW2 to add/reduce timing.

When load request goes above iop limit and you rescale the load axis. Make sure appropriate changes are made in kfzwop/op2.

To reduce timing can i just lower the highest column in both KFZW/KFZW2 by say 1.5 deg, or do i have to reduce all the columns?

Reduce timing where you need to reduce it. Do not alter cells that don't need to be changed.

I am getting slightly bigger turbos, i will modify my current tune a bit, but i do not know how these new puppies will respond. I am running e85 with some very aggressive timing. I want to reduce overall timing a bit to begin with, to get my boost profile right. So, i will reduce only the last column, at the highest load? Whould that be good enough?

Good enough for what? So it doesn't blow up on the first pull? With E85, i doubt you'll have any problems even if you don't touch timing at all.

If you didn't numb KR the ECU will make sure you dont run too much timing. Either way, though, you'll want to tweak timing *on every cell* based on logging, not guessing.
