Thanks for the documentation . I have a few questions , on the diagram you gave me of wiki it shows a diagram of where to put the pins . Red for power pin 3 , Green for k line pin 17 and  Gnd pin 1
Im using a Tricore cable. How long do i keep the boot pin on for  .

 Also when i use the command tool do i start       C:\users\kenne\onedrive\desktop> ME7BootTool 57600 -readextflash 0x80000 simosExtFlash.ori

My last question is my file is corrupt on the ecu i have another file the correct one can i write the correct file back to the ecu .

Add the .exe extension (ME7BootTool.exe). You should also make sure you are working in the right directory, as I don't think your files are in C:\Users\Kennehttps://www.wikihow.com/Change-Directories-in-Command-Prompt Add a space between 57600 and -readextflash as well Good luck |

I never worked those ECUs, I couldn't help you more than thishttps://wiki.obdtuning.de/index.php/Siemens_Simos_3.3_(Volkswagen) Following link mention a required resistor for the boot pin if you have a ST10xx/C167 processor. I would double-check this, as well as your connections Hopefully someone with experience on those will chime in, Have fun |
