Hi all, i  have just finished a RS4 conversion in my S4. I have installed the following items:

- rs4 turbochargers
- rs4 exhaust
- rs4 intake manifold
- rs4 injectors
- As i have all the manifold, i have also used the RS4 throttle.
I am still using stock maf, as we don´t need to run too much boost.

The car has been tune by me for ages since 2006 and now that i have done the conversion , i can´t find the way to make it going in the right way.

I have followed all the post to make the injection conversion, but i can´t managed to start the engine, the mixture seems to be extremely rich and i can´t reduce the injection timing right.

I have modified:

11FE4  Minimum injector opening time (TEMIN) from 0.84 to 0.40 without,
18D61 Conversion of relative fuel mass (rk) to effective injector on time (te) (KRKTE)  - 60%
1A00A Constant for fuel consumption display (KVB) from 320 to 500

with those mods , the car still doesn´t start, the mixture is extremely rich, should it start with those mod on the file ?

Any advices  will be helpfull, thanks!

Wouldn't it be better to start off With an rs4 sw, and scale Down to s4 maf?

Im converting to rs4 engine myself, and that's the route I was planning to go.

Thanks for your answer. This is a euro s4 small eprom version, narrow band lambda sensor.

I Dont know If ECU conversión is possible in case...

Yes, just install new ecu.

No problem.
I'm running the K-Box RS4 software on a 99 S4 as well. Except that you will not have immo anymore without switching the instrument cluster to immo3 unit it's only advantages. I can provide you a base file with all the stuff switched off that's not on the PFL cars.

Use an RS4 MAF.

At the last answer, RS4 maf with the set up actually running? or do you also recomend moving to RS4 ecu?

Which other sensor do you have to install to run it?, thanks!

Yes. Run an RS4 MAF with the RS4 ECU MAF maps.

That is entirely up to you. It may be easier to start with an RS4 image, but I am more familiar with the S4 ecu, so generally start with that. YMMV.

Lots of people are using the RS4 binary as a base for all kinds of 2.7t setups.

Just changing the MAF will not solve your problem.
You are sure that the KRKTE address is correct?
Because I couldn't find KRKTE when I was still on the C Box software I used FRLFSDP (0x1B872) instead (FRLFSDP*KRKTE = frkte_w). Maybe you could give this a try?

As you use a RS4 throttle body have you copied over all the related maps like KFMSNWDK, KLAF s.o. ?

So if KRKTE is correct -60% seems way to much. RS4-S4 injectors are more ~40% more flow.
Have you also copied TVUB ?
