01 tt 180hp awp memory layout?
« on: July 08, 2014, 04:43:52 PM »
So my cables finally showed up. And I'm trying to do a full read flash but I'm not sure which memory layout I'm supposed to use... I've tried a few. But it always goes reading ecu flash memory
Negotiating communication timings
And just sits there..

CTRL+PRT SC
Then, paste it into paint and save. Boom. A perfect screenshot.
2001 TT is going to be 29F400BB. Try at 38400 baud (change it AFTER you connect to the ecu, but BEFORE you hit full read flash.

Thanks daz. I'll give it a shot. The laptop I use for it doesn't have internets but I think I remember it saying something about failed to initialize byte? Idk. I'll check again in the morning once I get out of work.

225tt is 400bb. 180hp should still be 800bb.

I'll try both again with slower baud rate here in about 4 hours.

Seem to have nailed it daz!!!
Opened up.
Connected at max baud.
Read ecu info.
Disconnected
Switched to 38400 baud.
Had to try a few 800BB memory layouts. Alas it being the bottom one. Not sure why I have three.
But it's reading now and transferring data.
35% now. Well 38... 40... you get the idea.
Thanks again sir. So much knowledge you have. Sorry to keep bugging you on this and my allroad stuff.
