So it seems I need to purchase a mpps cable for flashing of my 04 allroad 4.2 and other tdi cars such as my friends jetta alh.   Last week this site worked and I went there again yesterday and now it's dead?  Any suggestions??

Why not just buy mpps from amtcartech for the price of the genuine tool its daft to messing with unreliable clones.
Plus free updates were version 18 now loads of extras and it keeps growing

Daft?

I would say it depends on what you're doing.

$2000 vs $10

I can say that seeing how well the clone worked convinced me to buy the real deal.

So the clones do work?  Or kinda hit or miss like the eBay cables.

It's hit or miss. I suggest buying two from different suppliers.
