Hello guys, I'm coming to you today, because I have a project that I'm doing for a friend.

He owns a Seat Ibiza (20VT 6K2 from 2001) Cupra AYP 156hp. He wants me to tune his car, but I'm not too familiar with petrol engine tuning. (I made some diesel tunes on TDI PD engines)

I would like to know which maps would be a good start for a basic tune, as I would like to make a step up tune for his car, and NOT blow the engine !!!

Since there is a 180hp version of this car, I thought I'd try to integrate some relevant maps from the 180hp original file to the 156hp original file !!!

What do you think ?

There is something else, my friend had some misfire problems with the car, and he couldn't (at some point) go over 3000 rpm, like a limp mode ... He couldn't figure it out, so he disconnected his maf, and now the car is running better than ever !!! I don't understand. Is this normal ? Or is it because the ECU is already tuned (he bought it because his was fried) ?

Thank you guys Wink

I'm not sure it's tuned, but isn't strange that thecar works better without a maf ?

isn't, if MAF is bad.
Best bet, pull current file, and take a look.
Nefmoto flasher + ebay cable do work for me on a similar car.

Hello, I already have the file, pulled it out with galletto in boot mode ...

I couldn't do it with MPPS, or galletto while in the car. It starts correctly and then it blocks and I have an error message ...

I read somewhere that someone did it with the ignition off. Is it how you did it ?

I can't read with nefmoto, it's greyed out, or maybe I don't know how to use it ...

Thanks Wink

Late reply, but you must have all doors closed when reading the file. When you start reading the file it locks your doors at the moment the load reaches ~10%. Just wait patiently in the locked vehicle to get the file Smiley
