was bullshiting with a freind of mine building a supercharged b5 a4 1.8t
and was confused by how you would even begin to tell the ecu its no longer turboed and its now
supercharged is there any info on this or was this just a stupid choice on my friends part.
as far as i know hes still running the stock a4 ecu which was what really made me question how it even ran
not looking for a guide on how to. just bullshiting on the subject

It really is very easy:
Set CWTURBO to 0 and CWSCHARGER to 1 Roll Eyes

Where are these codewords?

Can you show me in the HN file?  Can you change it so that it's a 4 cyl too?

How it makes boost is of no importance to the ecu.  The ecu just sees pressure and vacuum.

I'm not too sure about this, with a turbo the ecu can control boost via the n75, with a charger that's basically constant?

Is it a suck through throttle or blow through?

There was a twincharged 20V(C)T , project here. I would tune it like a turbo with very good low RPM response....
