Hey all.  As stated, new to Audis. Just recently picked up a A6 2.7T tiptronic (  Sad ) as a daily driver.  My last vehicle was a 540I 6-speed non-vanos. Tuning on that car was a serious PITA as it ran the old Intel chipsets found in the old Porsche 911s and Ferrari F355s (Bosch M5.2).
Hate that I had to send the DME out to have it tuned, but I just did not have the time, money or equipment to tune it myself. Huge PITA too from what I gather from the ECUConnections.

So this is my first venture in to the Audi world. Picked up a super clean 04 2.7T A6, but sadly with the tip tranny as my daily commute is some serious stop/go traffic.
I love the car, but the throttle response is severely lacking. My main goal is to flash tune the ECU for improved bottom and mid range. Additional goals for the car are 710N diverters and BEL downpipes whenever they become available. Minimal stuff, really.

Any of you have experience tuning the tip 2.7T? If so please let me know as I am anxious to get my feet wet and start making incremental improvements to my already enjoyable car.

Sorry for the long winded post. If you made it this far then pat yourself on the back LOL.  Cheesy

The ME7.1 2.7t is the most well supported platform here. You will have absolutely no problems finding whatever info you need.

Please do not ask me for tunes. I'm here to help people make their own.

Do not PM me technical questions! Please, ask all questions on the forums! Doing so will ensure the next person with the same issue gets the opportunity to learn from your ex

Great. Thanks for the support.
I will poke around the forums to see if anyone has a definitions file for my ECU or if anyone is willing to to share a tip file.
