Hello there,

I will ask a rather stupid question.
I have a VW R32 turbo engine, and I have the parts to have between 8200 and 8500 rpm.
This is needed with the big turbo I have.
But question, original ME7 ECU can manage engine speed as high?
If possible, the solution would be to resize the x-axis or y-axis in some maps.
How would you do the thing?

Thank you

A little OT, but which springs are you running?

I currently have a car that I am tuning who is running an R32 head (100% OEM/stock) turbo.. we're spinning to 8100 but above 27-28 psi (sitting around 780whp) I believe we're running into issues with valve float.  We ordered double valve springs but wanted to see what you've done for your situation as you want to spin even higher.

Thanks!

Thanks all for your reply...
It's one project that I have in this time, not finish.
I have valves and complet spring from supertech, I modifed my R32 head by myself, porting, etc... (I like the DIY), I hope 8500 or 8600 rpm.
I have a S400sx3 (71mm) turbocharger from Borg, and I will use OEM R32 ecu. I have one WOTBOX, but don't want use it. I will try to have the ALS/NLS function with your helps.
I will make this engine on a Audi A4 quattro B5 chassis.

Which turbocharger did you run? oem R32 ECU?

Here's one on the dyno of our last session.. it's not my car... I'm just tuning it.

Max we've seen so far is ~832whp around 33 psi boost.  Running pump E85.

Yes that's Marco's drag DSM, he's a good friend of mine... That picture was taken in Magnus Fabrication shop.

For sure, it's been there many times!
