Hi, looking to flash my mk4 with the AUM 1.8t 20v lump in.
To start with, Just need some guidance on what memory layout it has?

right.. thanks but i may have just killed her... I read it in 800BT and saved it then write a file, now the immobilzer is not letting it start.. how can i fix this?

Bootmode flash back to the old file, or use an immo off eeprom that matches the flash you used.

could you give some pointers to boot mode. i have had a look at the how to but makes no sence off it. Also i used the attachment on here http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=620.msg62178#msg62178Also what eprom software? as cant seem to downlod any

are you sure that it is immo problem? car only cranks or starting for a few secs and then stop?

Yah car starts then seems to stall after second or two...# This is my ECU... what pin to boot mode?

Nefmoto doesn't do bootmode, even if you select it. You need to use galletto.

ah ok, Right.... So this blob on the board? is the earth out one when wanting boot mode? [/URL] And on the Galletto software what one of these do i select? Also am I ok to write a IMMO deleted file to it? How do I Know if I have 7.5.5 or 7.1.5? [/URL]

Walk before you run. You're going into this without knowing what you're doing. Galletto doesn't write the eeprom where the immobilizer data is stored.

Ok right basicly I need to write the EPROM... I want to get rid of IMmo and I have a file for my ecu (correct to part number) for IMmo delete. What program for that? Basicly the immobiliser is stoping me writing another flash file so how do I get round that.
