Hey all, I'm running my k04 s4 on a stock M box modified for my 85mm MAF and 630cc evs. I believe the maf is scaled properly, idle trims are currently at ~3%. The problem Im running into right now is that my partial fuel trims are always at 0%. This is with a modified LAMFA table, if LAMFA is set to 1s it will show adjustment. I must be doing something wrong here, can anyone assist? I recently switched to e85 also . Thanks.

Did you correct the M box LAMFA axis?

Don't use 100 or it will always interpolate between 80 and 100. Use a value under 100, but close. I use 97.5.

Not if mrfa_w is 100. Op, log lamfaw_w and lamfa_w.

Did you change the actual axis in hex dump, or just the factor axis that you see in the map?

Not if mrfa_w is 100. Op, log lamfaw_w and lamfa_w. I guess it just makes me feel better having seen mrfa_w<100. I don't see how it would hurt anyway. Westfarmracing: Yes, you change the actual axis in the hex. Just changing the factor will just make it look right, even if it is still wrong.

No, you're right, the difference between 97.5% and 100% mrfa_w is inconsequential.

Yikes. This distinction might really really confuse noobs... we need to make sure that in the stage1 tutorial we're explicit about it

Should we fuel with BTS? it's a bigger table though....That and we have to deal with KFDLBTS Should I amend the bins to fix the axis issue?

Yeap, i only changed the axis under LAMFA axis, did not do any hex editing. I'll look into correcting that, and then log. My AFRs are so rich part throttle.

If you edited the data in the LAMFA axis parameter in the xdf I created, that edited the bin.

From that, it still isn't clear if you changed the actual bin contents, or just the axis definition. You need to do the former, not the latter.

Initially I made this mistake. Went to check my fuel trims and they were also 0 on part throttle. Drove it 30 miles or so like that, lost 50 miles on a full tank but it sure drove smooooth. Hehe. Fixed now.

I know this, had the same problem myself. That's why I asked Guess the problem for OP is solved now anyhow
