Has somone got a correct XDF or can find one?

As am new to the tunerpro I want to make shore I am learning the correct way first.

My ecu is for a 1.8t AUM engine, 06A906032DR ME7.5 0003

I have found one which is hopful, as says for 0003 version but could somone confurm this?

most maps has the same offset
if you see strange values in map like a 10 20 30 96664 75 7556 etc then probably this xdf mismatch with your file
just open 0002 file with same xdf and compare if you doubt about it
or flash 0002 into your ecu. ive done this few times - all ok

Ok, cool well will also download the 0002 version and have a look.

Right i made a copy of the BIN. to pay with so I dont mess the factory one up and made some changes for post lambda delete, SIA, EVAP

This is the log are the values before look ok? as i have set them to '0' so they are disabled...

Edit Log for aum factory - Copy.bin created by TunerPro.

Don't use anything with CLAxxxx in front of it. Those are error classes, and we've moved past those now. There is RARELY, if ever a reason to use error classes.

Ok, so after a great guy corrected the checksum my car is now running the edited version I did and it has almost got rid of my DTC list from removing a fue things... I flashed it drove it around for a but turned it off and back on then drove it again. and the EML came back...

I have gone from these codes..

17834 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Open Circuit
17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
16514 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High

To just one....

17834 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Open Circuit

Soooo... This is because I have removed the carbon cannister and the plug is floating around...

Can someone tell me what i have to edit to stop this coming up?

Right ok cool... yea that is was i was using to start with..

For evap it is set to.

CDTES = 0
CLATEVE = could not find
CDLDP = 0
CLALDPE = 0

I have a feeling that the one i couldn't find on my bin is the one i need.....

I have attached the XDF and BIN if that helps? as my tunerpro wont find the parameter i need..

Are you not paying attention? Use ESKONF to fix the open circuit codes. My very first post said DON'T USE CLAxxxx shit, use ESKONF.

Ok sorry I completely miss read that but i think I've got it!!

So mine as stock is AA FF 00 30 FF F8 30, this translates as bit pairs..

Byte 0 AA= 10 10 10 10
Byte 1 FF= 11 11 11 11
Byte 2 00= 00 00 00 00
Byte 3 30= 00 11 00 00
Byte 4 FF= 11 11 11 11
Byte 5 F8= 11 11 10 00
Byte 6 30= 00 11 00 00

And they mean:
Bit pair legend:
11=SKIP, as in that component is not installed.
10=SPECIAL TREATMENT. For all intents and purposes, we're going to ignore this.
00=INSTALLED

and the Byte sections are for..

Byte 0= ZUE4 ZUE3 ZUE2 ZUE1 - Dont touch as Coils ---- 10 10 10 10 ------ AA
Byte 1= NC NC NC NC -----------  Not configured ---- 11 11 11 11 ------------ FF
Byte 2= EV4 EV3 EV2 EV1  ------  Don't touch as Injectors ---- 00 00 00 00 -- 00
Byte 3= LSHHK EFLA LDR TEV --  This then should be 00 11 00 11 ---- 33
Byte 4= BKV NC AAV MIL -------   This stays the same ----- 11 11 11 11 ----- FF
Byte 5= NC NC EKP SLP ---------   The then can be 11 11 10 11 ------- FB
Byte 6= ULT UAGR SLV NWS ----  This then can be 11 11 11 00 ------- FC

So these are:
Abbreviations:
ZUE=COIL
NC=NOT CONFIGURED
EV=INJECTOR
LSHHK=REAR O2'S
EFLA=(Error lamp non OBD compliant?)
LDR/E=N75
TEV=N80 TANK VENT VALVE
BKV=BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP
AAV=(shut off valve, Absperrventil vorhanden)
MIL=(Malfunction indicator lamp, OBD)
EKP=FUEL PUMP
SLP=J299 SAI PUMP RELAY
ULT/LDUVS=N249 Schubumluftventil
UAGR=(EGR valve power amplifier)
SLV=N112 SAI RELAY
NWS=n205 CAMSHAFT CONTROL/VVT
EPC - EPC light
SLP - J299 SAI pump relay
LDP - leak detection pump
BKP - brake booster pump

Ok so... Could someone with good knowledge check this but I have worked out that the new order should be:

AA FF 00 33 FF FB FC

This will then make all the items I have no longer got monitored or configured...
These are:
N80
J299 SIA pump relay
N249
N112 SIA Relay

The other question is LSHHK is that just the after cat lambda or both?

Thanks,

Ok, so that worked perfect all items that are removed from the car are not throwing an error also can do check sum myself now so Smiley the car drives better than ever...

The only query I have about that is the 'LSHHK' is this both lambda's or just the one on the rear of the cat?

So now i'm getting a bit more brave I would like to set up launch control...  Grin

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=151.0title=

So here are the peramiters you have to change:
Here are the maps I modify including their M-Box addresses

CWNMAXMD (8-bit) Codeword Drehzahlbegrenzung Set to 1

VNMX             (1157E)     The vehicle speed for activating the raised (normal) rev limit. We set this as low at it goes (1.25 km/h) so the launch control shuts off as soon as you start moving off the line.
DNMAXH         (16304)     This is the RPM above rev limit when the fuel cut comes on. Tweaking this helps make more boost on the limiter. I use 50 RPM  (Keep in mind the maximum RPM limit is NMAXOG + DNMAXH)
ITNMXH          (16308)     Dwell time under lower limit before activating the upper limit. We set this to 0 seconds
NMAX             (1630A)     Ends up being the launch RPM. I've found 4500 RPM works well.
NMAXOG         (16312)     This is the raised RPM limit which becomes the standard limit. Mine is set at 7100 RPM
TMOTNMX       (16316)     Coolant temp for activating raised (normal) rev limit. We set this at -48 so that it can activate at any coolant temp.
TNMXH           (1631A)     This is the time duration of the raised (normal) rev limit. We set this at it's maximum value of 655.3500 seconds. I haven't had a problem yet with this and have been testing for months.

I have changes all to his values but can not find the 'CWNMAXMD' to change to '1'...  Huh

Help would be much appreciated, also any knowledge if someone has done this to a 1.8t before...
