Hi all,
My name is Mauro, I'm from The Netherlands.
My first car was a Honda Civic CRX 1.6 VTEC.
I customized almost everything of the car.
In the end I converted the ODB0 to OBD1,
bought a LC1 wide-band lambda
and a Moates Demon with a Neptune license.
This was the start of my tuning adventure.
I liked the Neptune RTP software very much,
it was really easy to customize the different maps.

But now I switched to a Skoda Octavia Combi 2.0 TFSI RS (Kids...)
The car is also really great and much better comfort.
Now I'm looking for tools to tune this car too.
I did a lot of research on the internet and did a lot of reading.
I know my car has a MED9.1 ECU and there are several ways to read this ECU.
By OBD or open the ECU and read it by BDM.
I also bought me a spare ECU to play with
and some tools, a MPPS cable and a BDM set.
But when I take a look at the software,
it way more difficult then Neptune.
You have your read-out, a bin file,
and I found some Damos maps
and downloaded a demo version of WinOLS.
I synced the Damos map with my read-out.
And that;s the point where I'm now.

I saw some software called Maestro Tuning Suite 7,
because WinOLS is so basic, you need several other tools to do your logging,
do some calculations, for example in Excel
and then translate it back to the maps.
Live tuning isn't really a option,
because you need to write the ECU everytime you make a change.
I hope there are some people here that are using Maestro 7
so I can ask for there experience,
because there are not al lot of movies on youtube to see what this software can do.

Ok, thats it for now, back to the reading and research now....
