Hi,
after flashing my 8e0909518al ECU with the result of a dead one i got another 518al.

The problem now: I don't know my PIN..

I have a dumb K-Line cable and an MPPS Clone to work with.

Any hints to get my car back to life?

Thanks

What did you flash to the ecu?

Tuned .bin file. But i think the ECU had an hardware error or an failure in the flashing process. I was not able to enter bootmode.

518al is a tricky bugger.

You'll only boot mode it with galletto.. And the tuned file if you check sum it wit MPps will leave an error even if it was ok before and brick the Ecu , either after first start on down the line...

Use the me7 9540 program to read the Eeprom and you might get the skc pin off that.

I tried this but the old ecu is really complete dead...

Should i flash an virgin .bin? But how do i recode the whole settings?
