I think I am now ready to start tuning and trying to contribute, after month of reading and asking questions.
I was successful buying the right cable and reading the flash file of my car with the NefMoto Flasher and Logger utility. Even using the latest version of Windows (Windows 8.1) was not a problem.
Initially I started with a software and tuning package from a well known tuner (I don't want to mention the full name here, but the company starts with an E) and then realized and learned that it had a couple of limitations I wanted to overcome and I therefore decided to also get familiar with the NefMoto tuning solution.
