You're going to need to:

A. Be more specific
B. Not rely on just ONE defined file with which to compare. Sometimes I'll use 10+ to find everything I need.

Be careful what you are using too - I had a guy ask why his VR6 revs to 10k and it seems that the "mapper" had used a popular VR file on the net which was highly defined. However a lot of protective measures have been turned off so you could be adding anything - plus I have seen a lot that are not correctly filled out or some people have left axis/factors etc incorrect to weed out who is using the def file and not knowing what they are doing.

I would start with TTQS' defined files on here first.

As for functions/maps  -around 11,000 on an FSI ecu is the most I have seen so far on one ecu!

Are you sure it's CB?  I just searched and didn't find anything.

I've found at least as far as MkIV VWs and XDFs, the 032HS/HN is the best defined. There is an XDF (I think Userpike posted) that is amazing. So far I've not found anything that I've had to define...
