Hi Cam. I would recommend joining the Audi TT Forum ( www.tt-forum.co.uk) for all the information you need. I used to be a member but left because of the general lack of technical content and because there was too much of a distraction for banter & chit chat and arguments. Member Steve Collier has done a turbo conversion on his 3.2 V6 but a small number of guys have done successfull ca. 400 bhp large turbo conversions on their 1.8Ts. AFAIK constants NMAXOG, TMOTNMX and TNMXH are not supported in earlier ME7.5 512K ECUs.

It can not simple enabled, because this parameters are not supported in executive code of ECU programm. To activate you must rewrite this exec code. Don't know anybody who done this anytime... |

The question isn't in ECU SW. There isn't suitable SW supported needed features that you can play on this ECU hardware. If you take next generation ME7.5 ECU with 1024K flash than you need to make not small rework under hood content and some additional electrical rework in а car. |

@ gremlin : would like to know what mods are needed roughly, to be able to do that stuff cam wants. Could you chime-in on that one please ? Very interested in that.
Why do we need the 1mb flash ecu for it ?? Is it about the code in the processor ?

Please try to have a bit of patiënce, and try to understand the difficulty of the issue:
gremlin says : 1mb ecu needed for your wanted extra's. I wonder why. Let him first
share some details about that. Most interesting what he will come up with, if he can.
For the moment, let's assume gremlin's recommendations on that 1mb ecu, and we
see you have the 512mb flashrom ecu (018AE). So first thing to do, is getting a ME7.5.5
1mb ecu. Lotsa ecu's available, from normal 1.8T's that have this 1Mb flasrhom inside.
I'd like to firstly know why the 1mb-flashrom-ecu is needed. Then we can do a chitchat
about crossflashing ecu's. And takeing care of the eeprom.
B.t.w. what flashtool(s) do you use right now, for your car(s) ?

I understood but thought is another way you mean than gremlin says ... I have 1024K ecu already. Launch control - only this feature i want otherwise i can use current. I using programmer for this ecu and have original galletto and few else tools ... |
