1.) why two files
2.) file seems ok, ran it through Winols and output was the same.

After taking a look at the binary, it might not be that easy.

Find me an ORI and i'll give it a shot.

It's a far simpler a task than is initially evident.

In reality this is a 512kb file.

Attached is the ori, and his truncated and checksummed file.

ME7Sum will checksum the 512k truncated image just fine. The question is whether I should add support for ME7Sum to detect doubled up file...

It can detect a doubled up ori, but not a modded one, since the modifications won't have been done in the doubled area.

Ohh okay so what i need to do is read the ecu in 400bb not 800bb. Say i flash the checksummed file you provided will the modifications still be on there? Last question. If i read the ecu in 400bb will me7sum correct this?
