2001 Audi B5S4 Stage 3 problem with passing emission test
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:40:46 PM »
Hello Everyone, I am new here but asking for a little bit of help with problem.
I've asked AudiWorld, Audizine forums and you are my last chance. I've heard you are really PRO. Here is story: I've built full stage 3 with Borg and Wagner turbos, Green Giant 42lbs injectors, 85 mm MAF, "gutted" pre-cats and stock catalytic converters, Neuspeed rear muffler with deleted resonator. I have my ECU flashed with Vast Performance Stage 3 version 2 from Jason.
I keep getting problems in readiness with Catalytic Converters "Failed or Incomplete".
Jason from Vast deleted in my tune rear O2 sensors and I keep getting this readiness faulty so I can't emission test.
What else can cause this problem ? I was thinking - should I just unplug 02's so ECU won't see them at all ?
Please help. I am willing to PayPal anybody who can resolve this problem by the end of July, when my emission test will die on me and then I'm screwed.
Thank you in advance.
Chris

I would assume they didn't code them out completely (CDKAT). Have you tried to pull your bin with NefMoto? Most likely, you will need Galletto.

I'm surprised Vast didn't do this?

No, they didn't do that and I don't know what is going on right now
What should I say to Jason ? They keep telling me: "your software is steal, so they shouldn't be any problems" ... Well they are...

I am not exactly sure what you mean in your last post, but the only way that we can help you is if you pull the bin file from your ECU. Try using the NefMoto software, and if that doesn't work then try using Galletto. It should just be a simple CW. Have you tried running the readiness procedures from the Ross-Tech wiki?
