Hello mates, I think here's the right place for this thread but there'd be no problem moving it to noob questions/guides or whatever.

The thing is that a grup of good friends and I just bought the s3 specified in the title for learning and enjoy ourselves at the local circuit.

Days before the car arrived I used a downloaded stock 8L0906018N file to start making the XDF. Yesterday we read the ECU and several things happened:
1-As it's a 512 file, I used first 29f400bb layout, which caused NMS to throw an "incorrect layout" message but readed ok anyway
2-Tried the 29f400 layout and the same message appeared but the reading went ok and the file was analyzed compared to the 29f400bb and both were identic
3-Compared it with the downloaded one and there are lots of differences, but the maps are the same and matches perfectly the XDF
4-ME7Sum says both downloaded and read files are OK

The questions are:
Am I doing it right? may I worry about that NMS message or is just a bug?
Sould I start modifying the file and flashing with 29f400bb?
Is the difference between the files because I read it wrong? or it can be an earlier/later version and that's why some things are different?

I attach the files here.

Mates, I can't find KFLDHBN. Must be very different from my 032HJ AUM one.

Does any of you have a definition for this file? I'm gonna open a thread at the correct section anyway.

Edit: I've found that map thanks to a KP posted by one mate, but it has only a few maps, if any of you have a more complete one or a near matching one, It'd be a big help.

Thanks for your effort aef.

As I see, this file is very uncommon as there's no a decent definition althouhg the APY is a typical engine to tune

Be careful by using this definitions, they are a good help but there are some erros like KRKTE and NMAXOG in the .xdf for instance

How far did you get with making your file? I've got a 'pro' file but turns out all thats been done is the boost turned up, but the car does not drive great.

Actually, not very far.

Our turbo (td04) doesn't charge at all.
I made several logs and and actual boost is under 1200 (being requested kfmirl/kfmiop maximum values 190-200% of load.

I dont understand it. We tried by unplugging the wg actuator (leaving the wg closed) but without any luck. I loaded back the stock flash but logs keep the same and the car doesnt pull a *%#&€&#&*.

The only thing I think is messing up is an exhaust leak... But it may be huge to cause that weak boost, and it doesnt sound too much.

What do you think mates?

If you disconnect the WG line so that no boost can get to it, it will remain shut - as you said.

When you go WOT, it should boost uncontrollably - upwards of 30 psi if you're not careful.  You either have a boost leak, or an exhaust leak.

Either way, the hardware isn't working if you get no/little boost with the WG line disconnected.
