I am a noob that just bought a used 2002 allroad with the 2.7T and 6-speed manual.  I had a 2000 S4 with a 6-speed, but it was sold in 2008 due to job loss. 

I looked into buying an APR tune again and they want $600 for a 12 year old program.  I paid $350 at Englishtown for my S4 tune on a car worth 25K then, but I am not going to pay $600 for a stage 1 tune on a car that I paid $4k.

What is the cost of getting a spare computer with a good running stage 1 tune?  Interested in paying a reasonable price

Let me know what is out there and the going rates for a stage 1 tune.

That is something i would never suggest to someone. Before you get a 0815 tune on your car just leave it alone as it is.

It is German slang. Translated it means something like "nothing special" what I wanted to say that in my opinion it is not recommended to get a tune that's not made especially for your car but for a comparable.
