I've been running without the vss connected to the ecu for a couple years now. This enables me to run any redline (06bc2 - sets rpm limit if vss is disconnected) and vmax. Wan't to re-connect vss back just so I can log speed using vag-com and reduce cel codes.

I use a piggy-back for my fueling/boost/redline/ignition tuning. Ecu just provides baseline data for the piggyback to edit.

Plan on playing around with the nmax reduction (06bc6-06bc9) stages to stop it from cutting at redline. This should prevent it from redline cut right? Haven't tested if it'l work though.

Couldn't find any info on the reduction stage for vmax. Probably better to set the max vmax/nmax instead of just removing the reduction stage, but couldn't even figure out how exactly it interpolates them in the first place.

Stock damos attached.
