EDC17CP14 (USA) 2012+

What tool is needed to read these? Or what are others using.
My kessv2 and Ktag simply aren't talking to them. 2011 and earlier work fine. though. Sent Alientech an ECU and waiting for a response, which is taking a long time.
I am shopping for a different tool that I can actually use, just in case alientech doesn't come through.
Any suggestions?

Tried them as TPROT? Some wont communicate as "normal" EDC17 and you need to go through the protocol menu and select TPROT3 protocols
KTAG Protocols -> tricore -> VAG EDC17 TROPT 8/10

yes I tried every protocol/plugin that ktag/kess has for VAG edc17, even if they didn't seem to be the right one.
