Hello,

I have 2 clusters of part number 8L0 920 900 P and have both SKC however the new one will not adapt to my car. I am able to enter channel 50 in VCDS and enter the skc of the old cluster but it will not save.

Have also tried reading the bin from the old cluster and reprogramming new cluster with vag commander 2.5 but no luck. I am wondering if i need virgin eeprom to program the new cluster in order to adapt it to the car.

Reason I am changing clusters is that the old one flickers and causing issues in the car.

Thanks
Chris

Does the "new" cluster accept its login?

If you want I can try to virginize dump for you...

Yes it does accept the code, but it is not able to save when you try adapt..

What do you need to viriginise the cluster?  Just the bin file from the new cluster?

The bin from new cluster is enough.
