Bosch ME7.3.1 Question
« on: June 09, 2015, 05:13:25 AM »
Hey All,
My ECU is the Bosch ME7.3.1 (ME31F002) I have attempted to read/write the ECU via ODB for some time now without success. I understand that this ECU requires boot mode to be enabled for read/write functions, however there has been a bit of confusion on my part no doubt due to my own misunderstanding (noob).
On this ECU does the negative cable have to be run from Pin 20 to earth? or is it Pin 10 because I tried on Pin 20 but it sends the car haywire when i turn the ignition on.
Some diagrams I have seen on the internet show it as being pin 10 which has to be grounded. I was hoping someone might be able to help.
The vehicle in question is a 2002 Fiat Stilo Abarth 2.4 Selespeed.
Thanks in Advance.
