Got an Audi TT coming to me shortly which has an expired APR trial.  I am guessing that reading of the flash will be disabled.  I can flash my own tune, but will they have messed about with the EPROM which will stop me from doing this?

Read the e2p, flashed my tune, all good - eprom hadn't been messed with.  Infact it was so good the clutch started slipping - doh!

Do you have your First dump?

I've been wondering if they'd add code then disable it, or load it on the ram and delete it when it was done.

APR doesn't touch EEPROM on ME7 AFAIK.

Usually a reflash will work just fine.
