I've seen a thread about adding launch control as a separate function (additional code)....

I'd like to stay away from discussing full feature functionality for the sake of 'stole code' remarks. Instead, I'd like to start a discussion on step by step of adding new (simple) code to files.

I.e. - where to add code, simple function to store and retrieve a variable, etc.

A lot of simple functions as building blocks we as a community can source from and build full functionality if you had the desire and drive.

Thanks,
Rey

I think that this community needs to progress with disassembly before we get serious about adding code. There is so much functionality offered in IDA that we have not taken advantage of.

Bump this decade old thread -  instead of posting another with identical content.

Where should I look to start?

Small amount of C++ experience from high-school.

Edit: Answered my own question. Look at IDA for disassembly.
