hi guys does anyone know a way of retrieving a map from an ecu thats dead? ive managed to damage the tracks trying to remove the 95040 chip from ecu but would like to try and retrieve the map back off it to load onto my new one

remove the flash eprom and solder it on new ecu or use some eprom programer to read it

Readers are available from several manufacturers in several different versions with different coverage.
Through the years, I've used a BX40 from http://www.batronix.com/shop/programmer/eprom-programmer.html and it works perfectly.
