med9.1.1 ecu rusted
« on: September 04, 2015, 04:32:15 AM »
My 2007 4.2 q7 ecu has intermitent stop and acting weird so i opened it and it is all rusted inside (winters and salt mess a lot of car in canada) .
i found another one exact same version, tried to copy the original using bdm ( i know after read on forum immo would not work more but it would be a begining) but the read are always different.
i even tried uploading this file directly in the new one but it always fail
Could somebody point me the problem with read , or to somebody who could do the copy , or sell me one that would be ready for use.
when i get the car to the dealer they are no help they say the car work fine so they can't do anything
i included some read of the original
Ps i am a computer technician , not car technician or ecu specialist but normaly i get those thing done myself but this one is not easy
Thanks a lot

What do you mean it always fails to upload to the ecu?
