Hi all. First post here...

I need a stock m box ecu for b5 s4. I found an A box ecu that seller said he flash m box code on it and it will be just as good.

Can anyone confirm if this will work and/or if ill have issues with my esp or hitachi maf?

The only issue is flash size.

The A-box is 1M just like the M-box.

There really is no issue, unless there is one, which there isnt. Nye is just confusing most of the sometimes, but not usually. This time he was.

Sorry. Meant to say Bosch/Hitachi is not an issue, only flash size. In this case flash size is the same, so it isn't an issue.
