Hello,
Seat Exeo 2011 1.8TFSI (CDHB) 160hp with REVO software. After flashing 2 years ago there has always been a P0234 overboost fault code. Funny thing is that after removing it reappears at idle. Now there is also a P0087 fuel pressure fault and limp mode... Any ideas?

P0234 is actually underboost. It is mislabeled in many diagnostics tools.

Thank you, that was new! But that doesn't really explain why 1010.0 mbar is not enough at idle...

Now the car was at the dealer and they flashed the original software. No fault codes, but now the engine runs for 10 seconds and stalls. They said the ECU must be replaced. This is hard to believe because the car could be driven before the flashing...

Any ideas?

Revo modify the EEPROM too. You'll need a fresh EEPROM flashed as well, and the dealer won't have done that.

The car works now with a new high pressure fuel pump and the factory software. I have a strong feeling that the faulty software has requested too high fuel pressure and that broke the pump. I don't think the newer style pump with the roller cam follower could break when the car has been driven only 49k kilometers.

if you logged the car with that software you would see 180bar requested pressure. Smiley Smiley The first versions of their software had always problems. But this worked in favor of other tuners Smiley

Revo are fucking shit. I don't understand why folk use them. It must be purely marketing. Horrible, cowboy, thieving bastards.
