Hello,

Sorry if thres a better place for posting this. I found many useful information here in NefMoto, but nothing related to my ecu. I am working on a used Bosch Me7.5.30 (032 906 032 DL) from a Brazilian Mk4 Golf. I read the 95040 eeprom and got the correct PIN. Then, using VAS PC, I am trying to get access to Channe 50 Adaption, for transfering VIN, PIN and IMMO data from my car to this new (used) ecu. When I type in the ecu PIN, VAS PC returns "Invalid Access Key". I checked that pin many times, and I am pretty sure that it is correct. Would be there something related to checksum, that is preventing the ecu to accept the PIN? At a first look, I dont know if this ecu 95040 eeprom is stock, or has already some modifications. Here is the 95040 original dump.

Thank you all.

I checked that. There is nothing to do with cluster/immobilizer. I also tested the ECU, alone in bench. I can get all the VAS-PC functions to work on it, but I still get "Invalid Access Key" when trying to perform Access Security, in order to enable Channel 50 Adaption.

Regards.

By the way, I think that engine ecu Access Security by itself (not considering further adaption procedures) does not depend on the ecu beign attached to the car.

Another question: is there any other place in the ecu where there could by a copy of the pin stored? Or the only place for that is the 95040 eeprom?
