IMMO OFF MED 9.1 8J0907115 BOSCH 0261S02084

Hello to all!
I bought this specific ecu complete with a BWA engine for swaping to my Golf.
My question is...
Will i be able to read the ecu via bdm port?
The tricky part is that it is flashed with GIAC stage 1 remap.
Is it security locked?

I just did some BDM work on my MED9.1 ECUs I have for my A3 and I was able to do and IMMO off without touching my Stage 2 file. Though I don't know enough about how GIAC does their tunes so I don't know if they somehow lock it to the IMMO or something.
