Hi guys.Norway's got a question. Total noob here btw.

Im just wondering:
Is there a guide/list/link/tutorial of some kind that gives us noobs pointers and heads up for different procedures, implications, tips, tricks and so on, when it comes to flashing, even before flashing, its just as important and never the less right after.
Im thinking more if someone could make a idiot prof list for:
Choosing a cable.
Software (we all know that  I guess)
OS support.
Memory layout.
Chip type.
HP/Torqe expectations.
During a flash (what to and not to)
After a flash.
Trouble shooting.
Recovery
Statistics
and so on.

If not, would someone care to make one, and if everyone adds a line, we'll have a list in few days that everyone can use.
Thanks in advance.

If you make an idiot proof list of how to do these things. You will have idiots doing this to their cars with bad outcomes. Call it natural selection if you will; regardless, I believe this forum is here to help people learn these things and if we work together there can be great success. Also, the search button is great for these many covered topics... ie. choosing a cable, i believe there is a sticky on that somewhere. Just click around the forum and read the posts.

We will not hold your hand but do try to have good guides to keep the noob noise down. Start here:

Then read all these:

Then read every thread on this forum.
