Hey Guys... Here i´m back again...
(still sorry for my bad english, i learned a lot, but nothing to write in english well, i hope you´ll understand me)

After a lot of reading and testing now i´m driving a Setup on my Polo 6N with AUM engine that makes me really happy.

At first here´s my setup:
-AUM Engine with arias Rods, single mass + sinter metal clutch
-K04 Turbo from APX
-Injectors from APX
-MAF Housing from APX with Sensor from AUM inside
-BMC Carbon Airfilter (closed)
-Gearbox EVS (will change it to ATB in winter)
-FMIC
-3" Downpipe with 200cpi, then 2.5" to silencer at the end

My ECU is a 06A906032FC flashed with 1ML906032A file from Leon Cupra (BAM) because it matches with the new injectors and i´ve a very wel defined xdf for the Cupra file (found in this forum!)

Changes that i´ve made in the file are:
-disabled ABS over CAN (ABS in Polo don´t have Can)
-disabled Airbag over CAN (Airbag in Polo don´t have Can)
-disabled EGT (AUM doesn´t have this)
-disabled SAI (still mounted but broken, will take it out at winter)
-disabled second O2
-change MLHFM to values in AUM file (for AUM MAF in BAM Housing, i don´t know if this is right?!)
-added AL/NLS
-take some changes to play with overrun

Somewhere in this forum i found a file for cupra tuned by a tuner called CC...
I downloaded this and take all changes that they made to my cupra file.

Now i´m driving with 1.3bar overboost then it falls to 1.1bar.

No fault codes stored!
It drives really well but i´ve 2 last questions:

1. What i´ve to do to to get a little bit more boost?! Not much, just a little... Like 1.4 or 1.5bar

2. The engine runs very bad during warmup... If it is cold and i will start and i´ll stand still everything is okay. If i start to drive with cold engine it´s a drama to drive. It´s very jerky and jumping around... Acceleration and everything is okay. But if i want to hold a constant speed it will drives me crazy Smiley

If coolant temp reaches 90°C everything is fine and it drives like a new car.
If i mount the AUM injectors and flash a map from AUM engine (with changed MLHFM for MAF) it wil be very fine during warmup.

I played around with KFZWWLNM and changed the values to this from AUM Map to see if it take changes. Nothing´s better.

Please help me to fix m the jerky running during warmup. If this is well everything seems to be okay for me...

I added the .bin i´m teling about and the xdf i used...

Best regards to you,
Flo

You must use the mhfm of bam too if the sensor is the same reference number. If not you must use maf adjust tool.in my car i have the bam maf with mhfm map of bam with no problems.regards

apx injector older long end type
bam use new 0280156063

bam 032a file and 018m apx file use different injector calibration
tvub, krkte etc..
plz see 32 block vcds how much adaptation?

and yes MLHFM  stay use 032a original

not fixing component protection not enable BTS why ?
only disbable EGT
now runing only lamfa
but lamfa BAD

Hey guys, thanks for your answeres!

@6L20VT:
I tried to use MLHFM from BAM but engine don´t run good with it...
I use the MAF Sensor from AUM and only the Housing from BAM.

I try to use MLHFM and KFKHFM from AUM... Then the engine runs fine, warm and cold, no problem.
But i´m not sure if it´s the right way?!

@sonique:
Ah... i´ve read your post several times until i´ve understand what you mean.
I use the Leon Cupra file with it´s injector calibration. Cupra has BAM engine, i use injector from APX engine so i´ve to set the calibration to APX injectors. Yes, that makes sense. I´ll try it!

What do you mean with not fixing component protection?! I think component protection kicks in at 860°C?
I disabled the EGT Sensor by using ainstructions somewhere in this board... mmh.

You say lamfa is bad... What do you think i´ve to change. I don´t want to damage my engine...

For now i just try MLHFM from 032a (BAM) again, but i would remember that this wouldn´t work properly...
Then i change injector calibration to APX values.

I have a look at block 32 and write again!

Much thanks for your help!!!

Hey Sonique...
Thanks for your reply, i´m very glad that you tell me what´s wrong.

Where do you get the LAMFA Table...
I post the LAMFA Table that i see at attachment.
I don´t know why we see different tables?!

Can you please tell me how i can enable modeled egt to acitvate component protection?!

Much thanks,
Flo

/edit:
That´s why i´m thinking part protection with modeled egt is enabled... Look at the picture in the link below.

Description in the xdf says "factor for part protection exhaus gas temperature modeled.
0 off - 1 on"

So i turned on at 860 and 900... Sorry if i´m wrong?!

With a pedal position between 0-50% your ECU will be interpolating between the values in the two top rows. Usually the wped_w axis begins with 50% not 0%. This could easily be the cause of your issues, if the map definition of lamfa is correct.

Hey Beaviz, thanks for your reply...
Yes, you´re right, the axis usually begins with 50%... I´ve checked it with several other Maps from other ECUs i have.
But i couldn´t find another XDF or a clue to find out if my LAMFA Map is right or not?!

One good thing:

My engine runs very fine for now.
I changed the injector calibration to values from APX engine.

Then i left KFKHFM and MLHFM stock. Engine runs terrible, not only when it´s cold, if it warmed up it´s almost fine at idle but if i tap on gas engine dies most of time.

Several Months ago i became a file from a user, he drove a AUM MAF with BAM Housing, too and calculated the values... I forgot that he sent me that file.
After i read the answeres i remember and so i changed the KFKHFM to values from AUM (because AUM Sensor) and MLHFM to vlaues that are calculated new for the BAM Housing.

I flashed this file and what should i say... The car drives like new... If cold or warm, no more issues, everything seems to be fine.
So i´ve to take a look at block 32.

Now i have to check to enable the component protection with modeled EGT... Can anyone help me with this?!
Also i have to doublecheck if my LAMFA Table was correct?!

Much thanks to you, guys! I´m very happy to get help from you!

Hey Sonique...
yes i see myself that my LAMFA Map and your LAMFA Map have different values...
But... Why?!
I can´t find another XDF for 032A file so that i can check whats wrong?!

I see that the axis begins at 0, too in your table... I really don´t understand why there´s something zeroed out but in my table all values filled in?!

I have to check this...

Oh yeah, i see that i´ve a lot to read to enable component protection... Hard stuff for me... It takes very lot of time for me to go there where i´m now.
But the winter is coming and then car stand still, i hope that i´ve enough time to learn.

Thanks for spending your time!
