It's nano seconds faster nothing you'll ever notice, but it tickles my "faster is better" bone  Tongue
Just emphasizing that new and faster can be gotten for a fraction of the $85 the wreckers would charge for an old used chip Smiley

After reading that any 7.1 ecu is compatible with m box I went and pulled one out of an a6 and found the connectors don't work. So I got frustrated and ordered an m box off of ebay. It will be here on Thursday at which time I plan to flash a stage 1 bin ive been tinkering with on tunerpro. Ill try to attatch it and see if the higher ups approve? lol. I also ordered some high temp automotive paint and will include a photo of my plans. Well just discovered its not easy to upload things at a first glance. give me a minute.

ok 3rd try.

My paint design with wing and the tune with adjusted timing, air to fuel ratio and desired boost curve. and checked/corrected.

Trying to figure out visualme7logger.exe so I can fine tune my stage 1 set-up, but Im failing. Have ft232r cable. Connected to ecu through nefmoto easily. Cant seem to load any files other than examples that were included. Ive grouped the appropriate folders I believe. Maybe someone will give me the rundown? I'm running windows 10 if that matters...

Try unplugging the cluster fuse or disconnecting the cluster.

Also, does it work on the bench?

I just have a cheap blue cable. No fancy bench flashers yet. Still cant get nefmoto to read the whole file.

honestly, you shouldn't be having that much trouble with a 2001.5 s4, the kline is generally rock solid.

Might be your cable.

A6 went 7.1.1 in 2003 (U.S.) with the BEL; different connector.  (Well, keyed differently.)

Im wondering what i did wrong? everything looked and checked out right...to me at least. didnt even write 1% before it bricked. Anyone wanna check my files and tell me what im doing wrong now? Ive attached my original m box giac-socket bin. The M box bin from the current ecu. The modded flash bin that i used the giac bin to compare with, checksumed. And the .xdf file that I used. Ive spent so much time trying to make this work that it is negatively impacting my life. lol

Dont ask me man... lol. Im just some stoner from Oregon who likes to work on his car and go fast. All of the sudden im the most talented computer guy in my family. ha. Not saying much obviously. If anyone knows How to fix it id sell/trade it. It's a sweet chip if you get it working. Should have left it alone. I'm in the middle of piecing together a benchflash setup to run galleto gellato, whetever, or kwp2000 for my current bricked 8d0907551?Box from ebay THIS IS THE RAM PROGRAM BIATCH. I know, im dumb. But ill make it work. To better answer you, I was able to read it. I think the values matched up with the bin and xdf through tunerpro. Use it as a compare bin for 8d0907551m 0002. Says the guy whos bricked 2 times so far this month.
