mine came with the full x17 set up from them. i only ever used it for the x17 but decided i would finally make an rj45 > female obd2 and use it for everything. well, everything but abs modules.  |

Nye-
Are you using a coaxial cable for power? That's clever. I'd have never thought about it. I opened my cable and added a power port so my power supply plugs into my cable. The bench flashing rigs don't need their own supply. Really simplified the wiring.

yea, that way i can use a single ps for all of the various cables i have, and its an idiot proof connector, plus i can always use a (readily available) extension if im short. female is on the live side of course |

how much voltage is too much for the ecus? my ps sometimes goes up to 15.5 votls but it still flashes just fine.
