Hi there.
I have a VW rabbit 2.5 with Automatic gearbox.
I put the automatic Gearbox out of the car an put an Dsg Gearbox to this Engine.
The Engine ECU Is an ME7.1.1.

I would like to ask of it Is possible to replace the Part of the Engine ecu which Is for the gearbox from a, For example R32 ME7.1.1, to These 2.5 ME7.1.1.
The VW Rabbit was Never Produced with a dsg so for me it Is not possible to Flash the ecu with an Original file oder change the Coding from automatic to dsg ...

I have read out the 2.5L with automatic transmission, a 3.2L with DSG and a 3.2L with manual 6-Speed.
The car is running so far, but the Shifting times and the hard cut on rev-limiter is not present. It runs with the DSG like a Automatic transmission.

Is here anyone who could help me!?

you need engine torque signal on can. 1.8t me7 works with dsg.

I just made an DSG DQ250 swap to an MK5 2.5L. It uses ME17 ecu. Same problems related.

Bump this thread for anyone who wants the same swap

After swap from 09G aisin to DQ250 customer had dtc connection with tcu
Car drives with bump at start and double bump in reverse ) also shifting points was weirdo

Stock ecu awaiting for getriebe 1,2,3,5,6 can messages, but dsg only sends 1,2 and 3 with different id
So cw_can_r,  cw_can_ra, cw_can_rb should be fixed for that
 TMAR 143
CWGC 11,  FMOTC 22  just to be sure but its unnecessary at dq250 afaik
CWGGCEGS 7

I had very limited flashing attempts so idk what changes affected but result is no dtc, dsg operates like it should be and so on

I wonder what needs to be done for 09+ 07K cars with Me17 ecu. Do you get throttle blips on downshifts with Me7.5?

me17 ecus costs less due to only canbus config and getriebecodierung, throttle blips works as it should
me7 2.5 has no throttle blips although it has tsyn/nsyw but im unable to investigate this

got it, sounds even easier. I guess I regret now that I sold my 2.5 VW JSW a couple of years ago.

We recently set up some 07k with Dsg here in Brazil and we had the experience that only me7.1 07k906032BC worked Blips correctly
