ME7 ECU Flasher not detecting my cable...I think...?

I am having some trouble getting my VAG-COM cable to work with the Nefmoto Software. The cable is supposed to be of the generic FTDI kind. The software that the cable came with is working fine, and I can use it to read DTCs in my car, but the Nefmoto SW seems to not detect the cable at all. I get nothing at all, not even an error message. Any ideas?

Never mind, it turns out I had forgotten to install the CDM driver. Now my device shows up in the drop down menu, so I guess everything is good then.
