i have a Audi TT 225Q with a FrankenTurbo F23, Narrowband 512K ECU, Innovate Motorsports Wideband, 630cc Siemens Injectors, S4 Maf, 3" Turboback , 42DD Intake custom machined to fit the S4 Maf And many other Engine and Drivetrain Goodies

i have been working with a tuner getting me a custom tune. "I will not post the company but he's based in canada and does a lot of TDi Tunes"

issue is my fuel trims won't learn and so at idle I'm 13.1 but at cruising I'm at 14.6 - 15.2. Which is Perfect. at WOT my afr is 14.7 till 4800rpm then 11.5

Primary O2 sensor on block 30 never goes on for probe condition or lambda control It's either 100 or 000 so heater on and off that's it.

Block 032 Shows 0% in both, And Block 099 Shows Lambda Regulation Off.

Also with primary o2 disconnected i don't get a CEL actually even if i cause a misfire or a major vac leak i still don't get a CEL?

I red that if you disable to many things on the cars tune "SAI, Secondary o2, Evap, N249" that your car won't learn fuel Trims?
Funny thing is i just need the SAI Deleted Not all the above as he did.

If i unplug my o2 Sensor car runs exactly the same. no changes in AFR. only thing that causes my idle far to go to 14.7 is when i turn on my ac/defroster.

the turner is very slow with getting back to me 1 tune a month and every time a get a new tune it fixes one thing and screws multiple other things.

Im going to be switching to another tuner but i wanna know if there is something i can check? i have asked him but he won't get back to me till spring.

I can provide logs if needed. just let me know what blocks

i can load also back my stock tune but don't want to flood the engine with fuel so can i adjust fuel trims enough thru Unisettings to start it and drive or not?

My guess is that they disabled primary O2 in your tune. Simple as that.

AS to loading stock tune... Maybe. What are your stock injectors? What is the stock maf size? See if the maf size increase (area wise) is anywhere near increase in injector flow. If you  are within reasonable ratio between these two figures, you can lemmi. I think lemmi can adjust 25% either way and your ECU can adjust automagically another 10% on top of that before throwing a fit.

Let me guess, company starts with an 'M'?  Tongue

Did you delete the EVAP by any chance?

BTW Tuning as you go a narrowband ECU is risky business if you ask me.

Yes "M"

he deleted the Evap from my tune although i kept it installed and it is fully functional.

I just purchased a Wideband ECU and a Conversion Kit From here http://www.raceline-ws.com/rlwa_18_adapter

i am just gonna go with Maestro 7. just wish i didn't waste 6+ months of my time with him and not getting anything accomplished .

guess you just have to learn from your mistakes.

Where are you located? I have a pretty good base file for the F23, but its designed for cars with stock rods.

If you end up going the Maestro route, I can help you with that as well.

The F23 is very 'responsive'. Open wastegate will probably send you 28+psi at redline  Grin

Im Located In Cincinnati Ohio

I am gonna order my Maestro 7 On Thursday.

If you can help me with my tuning i will gladly pay you for your time.

i have never done any Audi/Vw Tuning. but i have tuned Evo's and DSM's. And i have a friend that is in the tuning business that is gonna help. plus i get to use his dyno.

i do have stock Rod's "20mm" so i know i have limitations. but once i get the new ecu and Harness i will let you know. also since i have a amu engine without VVT and i am assuming since my new ecu is AWP do i need to resistor something on the Ecu? is so what pins i do have a ton of these 330ohm 10 watt resistors. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Arcol/HS10-330R-1/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMukHu%252bjC5l7Ybt85uRGGLePEfyDbtwuW1Q%3D

Thanks

Thanks

i cant remember resistor off hand, but make SURE you resistor this, if you do not you will run into issues, as well as the evap stuff.  You will not get adaptation of FT's if you dont plug it in, or have a PROPER resistor for it.  You can code this out relatively easy.

I ran into this issue before after an AEB head swap on our drag car with the VVT resistor, it actually fried the evap harness too for some reason(before using a VVT resistor), or just coincidence i do not know.
