i guess this is one way for a noob

http://www.winmd5.com/

or fc for slightly less noob

https://www.howtogeek.com/206123/how-to-use-fc-file-compare-from-the-windows-command-prompt/

or md5sum or diff (if you are a linux user).

Or just booting up a hex editor /comparer, something like Beyond Compare.

You dont need too(for now , unless u want to get into tuning..), just look on the left side of the screen. If there are are red areas, that means the file is different there , like it has been modified vs the original file.

Well your thread if about how to know if a file not original.. Which is what exactly I told you. If there are red areas it means its modified. You have to understand ME7 tuning/maps what kind of "stage" its mapped for.

Just start flashing them on one at a time and see what one you like.

When you find the best one, post it up.

Do you know what's a joke?  Asking the internet how to get their crystal ball out and tell you the ins and outs of 1000 1.8t files.

As Nyet said, you need to compare against a stock file.
