Hello all !
i made and make tune onTwo S3 with GT2871 one work perfectly have full boost at 4200RPM the other one have a problème with same hardware i have full boost at 5250rpm it have a terrible lag
hardware for both car is same juste one have turbo top mount and other rear mounted. motor : APY
E85 GT2871 AR.064 850CC siemens deka DW65V blow off valve forge stock intercooler 76MM exhaust N249 delete connecting rod forged and ohter...
both cars had an engine rebuild with new spare timing chain... tensioner... connecting rod bearing , crankshat bearing , piston ring and lot of sensor , gasket ... bearing.. ( mass air flow , N75J ) etc...
i tested a lot of things
BOOST LEAK and check valve NEW TURBO ... ( first is ball bearing and new journal bearing ) same problem OTHER N75 OTHER BLOW OFF VALVE (despite the parts are new ...) timming check check wastegate disconnected hose of wasegate...
i don't know wath going on anyone already had a same problem ?

Since one is different mount I bet you are using different downpipe and other intake setup. But yes logs would be a start from the cars on the same piece of road.

unfortunately I do not have access to the log for the moment of the second S3 which works well. my friend lives far away and lost are driving license.
for the exhaust assembly and intake I also built a golf 4 1.8T engine AGU with this configuration. ride in the back and I have no problem with it full boost also around 4200 rpm

Hello after long time because have a lot of work and no time for working on my S3 i found a crack on my intake manifold and replace all check valve boost lag it's ok for now! thank's for your help.
