Hi!!

My GQ-4x always works perfectly, but now have a problem thats cause fails on initialization!

The MCumall suport say that this programmer was discontinued for several years, and the service is no longer available for this model!

I will have to buy another programmer, and i need just to reand and write the 28F102 memory, the way is buy the GQ4x4 beause i dont know others programmer that read and write this memory!

Anybody know the better way to solve it?

Thanks for information!

Batronix is a German company?

Batronix BX40 Bagero II suports 28F102! €249,00

The Gq4x4 its low cost, but is better to pay more to solve all problems

I dont found a model with a low price than €249,00 that suports 28F102

i have the bx40 along with their plcc44, psop44, and soic8 adapters. it works 100% and is 10* faster than the gq programmers.

you can also find some adapters for much cheaper price from china if you search hard enough.

the batronix also interfaces with ols, so do not even need to export the file. just select program inside ols and magic happens.

Nice!!

I always had problems with GQ-4x, to erase the memory I had to repeat the process for 15x.

In M3.8.2, have a way to read and write with the MPPS like a M7.*?

batronix does not have this issue. mcumall really is junk if you are using it for any type of commercial use.
for hobby, sure, its ok. work around the issues but when reliability and efficiency matter, there are much better options available.
